Pastures

Turn these conversations into a love that lets go, that holds with open hands. Change the craving into a song of freedom and let sun weave through the replanted orchards. Leave the desert for a dance encounter, a spontaneous splash of joy on the floor. Let life flow on the river with longing that never runs dry. Reveal the authentic root of devotion, a zeal without error; renew a place under the oak tree where a warrior walks in strength and beauty side by side, and unwashed hands lift up, for I can't let go alone, I can't solve the cryptic ways my heart tangles, though it leaps to new unseen meadows, where the river flows wider and faster than before.
