silenced

What is the cure when shame won’t let me cry?
Fear holds back the wounds that were never seen
Which bled distrust across my heart
I let go of the blame that isn’t mine
And the beautiful story that I crave to be mine
-please wait until I get to taste it as my own-
Weaknesses were disguised as the never explained
Taking by force the perfect girl that never was.
