encounters
I crave being held
inside the tension
of mysteries and obedience
show me how to let go
when I put on a mask
and ignore the brokenness
teach me how to stop trading contentment
for a future dream
and to put love before need
remind me how to breathe
after I turn from what I can't explain
and return to the everyday life again
